Description

The Swan Inn and former stables is a late medieval timber-framed building situated on a base of stone rubble, which was refaced with red brick in the 18th century. It stands two storeys high and features a steeply pitched hipped tiled roof with smoke louvres and overhanging eaves. The building has four Dering windows on the west side and two on the south side, with the ground floor windows adorned with brick architraves and keystones. Inside, there is part of a moulded door frame, although most of the floor joists have been altered.
