Description

Padwell Cottages, located on the south-east side of The Street in Great Chart, date from the 18th century or earlier. The building is two storeys high, with a ground floor made of red brick and tile-hung walls above. It features a half-hipped tiled roof with a pentice on both the north and south sides. There are four casement windows. The cottages are situated down an alley next to the former Methodist chapel, which is now known as The Studio.
