Description

The White House is an 18th-century building, likely of earlier origins, originally an inn called the Old Star Inn. The front facade is modern stucco, with the end wall’s first floor tile-hung. The roof is tiled and half-hipped, featuring three hipped dormers. Five casement windows are present. A doorcase with a gabled tile-hung hood is a prominent feature. A 19th-century addition of red brick extends from the north-east end and comprises one storey and an attic, with a single window.
