Description

Yew Tree Cottage is an L-shaped building located on the south-west side of The Street, Pluckley. While the exterior is of the 18th century, the southern cottage and likely the entire block are older underneath. It is constructed of red brick with grey headers, with the south-east wall of the southern cottage displaying stone rubble on the ground floor and tile hanging above. The roof is hipped and tiled. The windows are Dering windows, with five facing north-east and two facing south-east. There are two doorways with round-headed tympana, each featuring painted keyblocks at the angles and head. Additional doorcases are present on the side elevations.
