Description

Forge Cottage is a 16th century or earlier timber-framed building located on Forge Hill in Pluckley. It features plaster infilling and curved braces, with the first floor of the west front extending out over the ends of the floor joists, supported by brackets. The cottage has a hipped thatched roof with a pentice on the south side. There are two casement windows, and a brick chimney breast is situated at the east end of the north front.
