Description

Thatched Cottage is an 18th-century building located on the south-east side of The Street in Womenswold. It is a single storey structure with attics, built from red brick featuring some grey headers. The cottage has a half-hipped thatched roof, which includes two eyebrow dormers. The first floor has casement windows, while the ground floor features two sash windows with verticals only, each having cambered head linings. There is a simple cambered doorcase, although it is now obscured by a later tiled weather porch. Additionally, there is a modern brick extension on the left-hand side.
