Description

This barn, located about 50 metres southeast of Capel House, dates from the 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weather boarded on a red brick base, topped with a plain tiled roof. The roof is half-hipped on the left side and hipped on the right, featuring an open arcaded outshot and a hipped midstrey. Inside, the barn has four bays of straight, sawn timber with a single aisle, straight quadrant braces, and a clasped purlin roof. The barn is included for its group value.
