Description

This is a timber-framed building, likely dating to the 17th century or earlier, which was largely refronted in the 18th century. Number 43 appears to have been added in the 18th century. The building is two storeys and has attics. It is constructed of red brick, with the first floor of number 43 being tile hung, and the ground floor of numbers 47 and 49 partly of coursed stone. It has a tiled roof with four hipped dormers, and eight windows in total. Casement windows are present throughout, except at number 43, which features sash windows with intact glazing bars. Number 49 was originally two cottages.
