Description

This is a timber-framed house, originally built in the 16th to 17th century and later divided into three separate dwellings at numbers 1, 3, 5, and 7 Lower Green Road. The house has two storeys and attics. The ground floor is faced with red brick, while the upper portion is tile-hung. The tiled roof has three dormers. There are four casement windows, some of which are original. The dormer windows have diamond-shaped panes, and the lower windows have small square panes. Number 7 is a two-storey red brick addition, with a single window, and is jointly occupied with number 5.
