Description

Verrall Cottage is a timber-framed building, likely dating from the 16th century or earlier. The ground floor of the east wall has red brick infilling, with the first floor above it oversailing. The remainder of the house was refronted with red brick at ground floor level and has tile hanging above. The roof is hipped and tiled. There are four casement windows, and one original window with wooden mullions is located in the east wall. A doorcase is topped with a flat hood.
