Description

Britton Farmhouse is a 16th century or earlier timber-framed building. The timber framing is exposed with red brick infilling at the back, while the front has been refronted with red brick on the ground floor and is tile-hung above. The first floor extends out over the ground floor, supported by the ends of the floor joists, brackets, and a corner post. The building features a hipped tiled roof, three casement windows, and a four-centred wooden doorway.
