Description
Dragon House, also known as Larasset, is a Grade II listed building located on Tenterden Road in High Halden. The structure consists of two parallel ranges, with the front range dating from the 19th century. The left portion, Larasset, features a pebbledashed ground floor and tile hanging on the first floor, with two casement windows and two three-light bay windows on the ground floor. The right portion, Dragon House, is weatherboarded on the ground floor and also has tile hanging on the first floor, topped with a slate roof. The rear range is believed to date from the 17th century or earlier, standing two storeys tall. Its ground floor is pebbledashed, while the first floor is hung with curved tiles, and it has a hipped tiled roof with a 17th century brick chimneystack.
