Description

Chestnut House is an 18th century building located in High Halden on The Green. It is two storeys tall with an attic, and is faced with weatherboarding. The roof is hipped and tiled, featuring a dentilled eaves cornice. The house has three windows and two dormers on the north-east side, and two windows with one dormer on the north-west side. The glazing bars are missing. The entrance has a doorcase with pilasters, a pediment, a low rectangular fanlight, and a six-panel door.
