Description

Nos 52 to 56 on High Street is a timber-framed building dating from the 17th century. Originally a single house, it has been converted into a hotel with two shops on the ground floor. The building has two storeys and an attic, with tile-hanging on the exterior. It features two windows and a gable facing High Street, and three windows along with two dormers facing School Lane. There is a small bay window on the first floor that retains its glazing bars. The ground floor has a modern shop front and an addition on the east side at ground floor level only.
