Description

Hodge Farm Cottages, formerly listed as Hodge Farmhouse and Hodge Cottage, are now two cottages located on Pluckley Road in Smarden. The south cottage dates back to the 17th century or earlier and features a ground floor refaced with red brick and tile-hung above, showing signs of an overhang. The north cottage is an 18th-century addition, constructed entirely of red brick. Both cottages share a tiled roof, which has a pentice at the south end and is hipped at the north end. There are five casement windows in total.
