Description

Tolhurst Farmhouse is a timber-framed building, likely a late medieval hall-house that has been refaced with weatherboarding. The first floor of the west front extends outward on brackets. It features a hipped tiled roof with alternating diagonal stripes of red and brown tiles. A large 17th-century brick chimney stack is present, along with smoke louvres and one hipped dormer. There are two casement windows.
