Description

Malthouse Farmhouse is a 16th century or earlier L-shaped restored timber-framed building, likely a late medieval hall-house with a cross wing. The east front features plaster infilling and curved braces on the first floor of the south half, while the rest of this front is mostly red brick, which is painted, and has a half-hipped gable with an attic window. The south front is tile-hung, and the building has a tiled roof. It includes three casement windows and a doorcase with a flat wooden hood supported by brackets.
