Description

Groom Farmhouse is a timber-framed building dating from the 15th and 16th centuries, with plaster infilling between the timbering and a stone base. The first floor originally featured curved braces and oversailed the north and south fronts, supported by projecting ends of the floor joists. The south front has since been underbuilt. The roof is steeply pitched and covered in tiles. The farmhouse has four windows; some are casements and others are sash windows with original glazing bars.
