Description
Ragged House Farmhouse is an 18th-century building located on Crocken Hill Road in Egerton. It features a two-storey exterior made of red brick and has a steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof, with a part pentice at the back. The farmhouse has three windows, which include both casement windows and sash windows that still have their glazing bars intact. At the north end of the farmhouse, there is an attached cylindrical oast made of Kentish ragstone, which has been adapted for residential use, although the cowl and fantail are missing.
