Description

Tuesnoad Cottage is a 16th-century or earlier timber-framed building, originally known as Dadson Farmhouse. The structure features plaster infilling and curved braces. A unique feature is the oversailing of the north half's first floor, supported by brackets and joists, which slopes downhill to the north. The northernmost window bay of this section exhibits close studding. The ground floor of the south half has been rebuilt and underbuilt using brick, now painted. The building has sprocket eaves and a steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof, with three casement windows.
