Description

The Old House is a 15th-century timber-framed building located in Bethersden on Wissenden Lane, previously known as Bullrush Cottage. It features plaster infilling and has an overhanging first floor at the end window bays, supported by protruding floor joists and brackets. The eaves are accentuated by curved braces and a bracket. The building has a steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof and stands two storeys tall, with four casement windows.
