Description

Elizabeth Farmhouse is a 15th-century timber-framed and close-studded cottage located on Smarden Road in Biddenden. The ground floor has been rebuilt in red brick with grey headers, while the first floor overhangs on a moulded bressummer, featuring an oversailing gable above. The building is one storey high with attics and has a tiled roof. It includes casement windows and an oriel window on the first floor, which consists of two tiers of seven lights, supported by wooden mullions and a transom, with a cove beneath it. The west wall has been refaced with red brick on the ground floor and is tile hung above.
