Description

Monkery is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed building located on Pluckley Road in Bethersden. The first floor is mostly covered in plaster, while the ground floor has been rebuilt in red brick. The building features a hipped tiled roof at the south end. There are three casement windows with small square leaded panes, and an original blocked window on the first floor that has wooden mullions. The entrance includes a doorcase with a door made up of six fielded panels.
