Description

Normans Cottages consists of two cottages located on London Road in Ashington. The north cottage likely dates from the 17th century and is constructed from Wealden sandstone rubble, featuring red brick dressings, quoins, and a stringcourse. The south cottage is from the early 19th century and is built of red brick with alternating grey headers. Both cottages have tiled roofs and casement windows, standing two storeys high with a total of five windows. The north cottage includes a four-centred brick doorway and a gable end with an attic window.
