Description
This is a mid-19th century oast house located about 75 metres southeast of Quarrington. It is constructed from red brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high with a loft storage area and has two buttress strips. The gabled roof extends over a truncated roundel. On the first floor, there are three wooden casement windows, while the ground floor has two casement windows and a boarded door to the right, all with segmental heads. The right side of the building has boarded doors leading to the first floor, which includes a ladder stair, and to the loft, with a semi-circular opening above. This oast house is included for its group value.
