Description

Fromond's Chantry at St Mary's College is a 15th-century building located in the center of the Cloister. It is two storeys high and constructed of stone, specifically green Ventnor stone. The building features a turret stair and was built by John Fromond, who was the steward of the founder, as part of a bequest from 1420. The chapel is situated on the lower level, while the library is above it. The interior includes a lierne vault with bosses. All the listed buildings on College Street are recognized as a group.
