Description

St Mary's Chantry, a scheduled ancient monument dating from the mid 15th century, around 1448, is now in ruins. Only the south wall and east gable remain visible, while the north wall stands with a small doorway leading to the garden. The structure features a large pointed doorway, and to the left of this entrance is a later cross window, which has been bricked in and has cusped heads. Additionally, there is a secondary door to the right of the main door, which has a chamfered four-centred arch in its lintel.
