Description
Lawn House is a lodge that has been converted into a cottage, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble flint with brick dressings and has a rendered upper floor, topped with a slate roof and a brick stack. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. There is a door on the right side, which features gothic panelling and is sheltered by a gabled timber porch. To the left, there are three-light mullioned and transomed windows, with a 20th-century window above. The first floor jetties out at the ends, and the roof has oversailing rafters with decorative bargeboards. At the rear of the ridge, there is a large quadruple flued moulded brick stack.
