Description

No. 31 Southgate Street is an early 19th-century building, constructed in 1833. This three-storey structure is made of plain red brick and features a dentil cornice and a stucco parapet. Originally, it had three windows, but the front now has two windows and two blank spaces. The building has an arched doorway with a contemporary fanlight above it, and a six-panel door. The windows are sash style with glazing bars. The roof is not visible. All the listed buildings on the east side of Southgate Street form a group.
