Description

No. 29 on Southgate Street is a late 18th-century building. It is two storeys high with an attic, featuring red brick walls and a brick dentil cornice. The roof is covered with old tiles. The building has two sash windows with glazing bars on the upper floor and one window and one door on the ground floor. The doorway is adorned with pilasters, a modified entablature, an open moulded pediment, and an arched fanlight above a six-panel door. There is also one modern dormer added to the structure. This building is part of a group of listed buildings on the east side of Southgate Street.
