Description
1 and 2 Rosemary Close are two cottages dating from 1833, originally part of the Magdalen Hospital built in the 16th to 17th centuries. These buildings are symmetrically designed and sit on different levels, featuring one storey and an attic. The walls are made of red brick, with tile hung gable ends and an old tile roof. Each cottage has three windows and three gabled dormers. The windows are two-light casements with wooden cills and diamond lattice panes, while the doors are plain. There are also brick stacks on the buildings.
