Description
Hill Farm House is a farmhouse that has been converted into a private residence. It dates back to the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century and a restoration completed in 1964. The building features a timber frame with herringbone brick infill on the front facade, while the other sides are encased in brick, topped with an old plain tile roof.
This two-storey, double-pile building measures two bays by two bays. The front has a doorway located to the left of the center, featuring a 20th-century door and an open hip-roofed porch. To the left of the door is a large single 20th-century casement window, and to the right are two-light 20th-century casement windows. On the first floor, there is a single casement window on each side of the central post, and set high in the center of each bay are small 18th-century two-light casement windows. All windows are fitted with leaded lights. The roofs are hipped, with a connecting roof in the center and a large chimney stack located on the ridge of this roof.
