Description

Old Thatch is a late 18th-century cottage with 20th-century additions, located on Church Lane in Kingsworthy. The cottage is constructed of coursed flint with brick dressings, and has a thatched roof. It presents its end face to the road. The original layout was two bays, with a 1½-storey profile. A large brick and thatch porch has been added to the front, featuring a glazed door and side windows. Two 2-light casement windows were added in the 20th century, set within lower sills; above these are 19th-century 2-light leaded casement windows. The roof is half-hipped and features a central stack.
