Description

There are three tomb chests located in St Mary's Churchyard, with the first dedicated to Sarah Knapp, dated 1802. The second tomb chest commemorates Benjamin and John Earle, with a date range of 1798 to 1800. The third is a stone coffin that dates back to 1786. These tomb chests and the coffin are made from Portland stone and are situated 5 meters northwest of the church tower and 5 meters north of the nave.
