Description

No 17 on St Cross Road is an early 18th-century building featuring two storeys and an attic. It has red brick walls and a tile-hung gable at one end, topped by an old tile mansard roof. The façade includes three windows, with an angular bay window on the left side at the first floor. The entrance has a door with a flat hood supported by heavy carved console brackets, and the door itself is panelled with a rectangular light above. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, and there are three modern dormers added to the roof.
