Description

Warrens Cottage is a house that was once two or three cottages, dating from the 17th century. It features a timber-framed structure with a three-bay lobby entrance. The building has been reclad and extended at the rear in the late 18th or early 19th century. The front wall is made of brick in Flemish bond with grey headers and cambered arches, although some features have been altered. The east wall shows the exposed frame with plaster infill, while the rear wall is rendered. The roof is half-hipped and covered with tiles, with a catslide at the rear, and there is a shafted stack attached to the west end. The south front has two storeys with two windows above three windows, all of which are casements. There are also two plain doorways.
