Description

This house on Bridge Street, Wickham, dates back to the 17th century, with significant alterations in the late 18th century and a rear extension added in the late 20th century. The original timber-frame structure has been re-clad. The walls are rendered with a prominent plinth and a first-floor band. The roof is tiled, with a flat section to the rear wing. The northeast front of the house has two storeys and three windows, featuring sash windows in exposed frames. A boarded door is set within a plain recessed entrance. Internally, original beams and a fireplace remain.
