Description
There are five tombchests located in St Stephen's Churchyard, dating from the 18th century. Most of these are made of Portland stone. Two tombchests are situated about 10 meters west of the church, one commemorating Mary Fielder from 1788 and the other for Charles Fielder from 1795. To the east of the chancel, there are two more tombchests: one for Robert Browning from 1791 and another for the Scares family, dating from around 1800. Finally, to the northeast of the chancel, there is a tombchest for Robert Locke, which dates back to 1720.
