Description
Little Plough is a former stable range located in the rear yard of the former Plough Inn, now serving as a dwelling and garage. It dates from the early 19th century and features a tile roof with brick dentil eaves and one 20th-century flat-roofed dormer. The walls are constructed of flint horizontal panels, with brick quoins and cambered arches, although the openings at the rear facing Garvery have been blocked. The building is one storey with an attic, and it includes casements and one sash window. A gabled trellis porch adds to its character. The high wall that connects this structure with the west end of Martins continues the architectural style of Martins/Old Plough, featuring three blank upper windows that indicate the demolition of part of the former inn.
