Description
31 and 32 Bridge Street is a mid-19th century building with a symmetrical facade. It has three storeys and five windows, with a slight angle just west of the center. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. The walls are finished in stucco, featuring plain architraves above the cills supported by brackets, a thin band at the second floor, and broader bands above a rusticated ground floor and plinth. There is a central clock opening with a key and a drip moulding on the upper half. The windows are Victorian sashes. The doorway is topped with a bulky cornice supported by heavy brackets. The east side has a modern shop front, while the west side features a single window.
