Description
Hall Place Cottage is a cottage dating from the 18th century, with possibly an earlier core. The roof was raised in the 18th century and the building was extended in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick and has an old plain tile roof. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and consists of two bays, with a lean-to on the right and wings at the rear. The front features a central ledged plank door set in a solid frame, which is sheltered by an open-fronted pent-roofed porch. On either side of the door, there are two-light segmental head casements, and a similar arrangement is found in the right outshot. Above, there are 19th-century two-light casements with heads in a gabled dormer. A stack is located on the left end of the cottage.
