Description
Wolversdene House is a late 18th-century building located on Dane Road in Andover. It is two storeys tall and features a north front with four windows, flanked by set-back wings, each containing one window. The house has a low-pitched hipped roof covered with pantiles, which were previously slate, and it boasts wide eaves. The walls are constructed of yellow brick in Flemish bond, with rubbed flat arches, stone cills, and a plinth. The windows are sashes set in reveals, with Victorian-style sashes on the ground floor. The entrance is located at the second bay and is highlighted by a Tuscan porch supported by two columns and two pilasters, leading up to an opening with panelled reveals and a half-glazed door. The rear elevation is made of red brick and features two round-headed upper windows, with other openings that date from a later period.
