Description
Pentyre Winton House is an early 19th-century building that was originally a symmetrical pair, with an additional structure (No 15) added on the south side. The property has two storeys and a basement, featuring three windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor. It has a hipped slate roof with wide eaves and a soffit moulding. The walls are made of stucco, with a band at the first-floor cill level that slightly projects in front of the openings. The windows have thin moulded architraves and a painted brick base, and a recessed panel indicates the division between Nos 11 and 13. No 13 features two-storeyed angular bays. The windows are sashes set in reveals.
Both Nos 11 and 13 have identical doorways, which include a blocking course, a simple entablature, and pilasters framing an arched entrance with a decorative fanlight (plastered on No 13). Each doorway leads to a three-panelled door, with stone steps and curved wrought-iron rails at No 11. No 15 follows the same style but has rear extensions and a side entrance. Nos 13 and 15 are included for their group value.
