Description

The Old Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 15th century, with alterations made in the 17th and 18th centuries. It features a cruck timber-frame structure that is encased in brick and rendered, topped with a thatched roof. The building is 1½ storeys high and consists of three bays, with crucks visible in the central bay. There is a 20th-century timber-frame porch located to the right of the center. Each bay has a 2-light casement window, and the left bays include a 1 or 2-light casement window in an eyebrow dormer. The roof is half-hipped, with a ridge stack situated between the left bays and on the right hip.
