Description

This is a 17th-century cottage that has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is timber-framed with colourwashed brick infill and has a thatched roof. The cottage is one-and-a-half storeys and originally comprised three bays, with a further bay added to the right end in the 20th century, constructed in brick and tile. A pent-roofed porch with a planked door and a two-light casement window is located at the inner end of the right bay. The other bays feature three-light casement windows. Eyebrow dormers, each with two- or three-light casements, are situated above each bay. The roof is half-hipped to the left and hipped to the right, with a stack above the door and a projecting stack on the right end.
