Description

Cordwainers Cottage is a 16th-century cottage that has been altered in the late 20th century. It features a timber-frame structure with plaster infill and a cob addition. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and consists of two bays from the 16th century, with a 20th-century bay added to the left and a 20th-century lean-to with a slate roof to the right. There are two-light casement windows in the right and left bays, as well as two in the center. Additionally, there is a two-light casement window in an eyebrow dormer over the left two bays. The roof is half-hipped, and there is a ridge stack located at the left end of the original 16th-century building.
