Description

A farmhouse, dating from the mid-17th century with extensions in the 18th century. The house has a timber-frame core and is constructed of colourwashed brick, flint and brick, and cob, with a thatched roof. It is a 3-bay, 2-storey building, with a 1½-storey, 2-bay cob addition to the left. A C19 two-panel door is located in the left bay of the older part of the house, with a flat hood and baffle entry. A bay features flint bands and a brick first-floor string course. To the left of the door is an 18th-century three-light casement window, and another window above it. The right bays contain a C19 two-light segmental head casement and an 18th-century two and three-light leaded casement window above. The left bays have a small casement window and a three-light eyebrow dormer. A C19 two-light stained-glass window is also present. The roof is hipped with a stack on the ridge, positioned above the door.
