Description

This building is a barn, now used as a garage, located immediately to the left of Providence Cottage in Kings Somborne. It dates back to the 16th century and was restored in 1984. The barn features a timber-frame structure that is weatherboarded and sits on a brick plinth, topped with an old plain tile roof. It is positioned end on to the road and consists of two bays, with double doors at the road end. The roof is hipped, and inside, there is a late cruck frame with ties and collars.
