Description
Lovells Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that was encased and extended in the 18th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill and a brick front, along with a cob wing at the rear on the left side. The building has a shingled roof and stands two stories tall with three bays and outshots at each end. To the right of the central entrance, there is a 6-flush-panel top-lit door set within a 19th-century timber-trellis porch. Above the door, there is a 2-light casement window. Each bay contains a 19th-century 3-light casement window on both floors. The outshot on the left is weatherboarded. The roof is hipped and sweeps down at each end, with a ridge stack located above the door and another stack on the left hip.
