Description

The table tomb located 20 metres south of the Church of St Peter in Hurstbourne Tarrant is a Grade II listed structure. It is a stone rectangular tomb featuring a moulded cover and corner tapered pilasters with moulded caps and bases, as well as a moulded base slab. The inscribed panel commemorates Elizabeth Mundy, who died on October 20th, 1780. Additional panels on the tomb display the dates 1762, 1770, and 1806. The inscription on the tomb is worn.
